Michel Kok studied Computing Science at the Radboud University Nijmegen for which he received his Master’s degree in 2020. At the same time, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. During his master’s he specialized in Data Science and performed his final research project at the Computational Pathology group of the Department of Pathology of the Radboud university medical center, Nijmegen. He worked on metastases detection in lymph nodes using transfer learning. On April 2020, he joined the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group as a PhD candidate. His research is focused on bone metastases, under the supervision of Nikolas Lessmann.
